How do Returns Work for Buyers

You have 7 days from delivery to request a return. After that, the sale is final. Returns fall into one of two categories depending on the reason.

Preference Returns

If you changed your mind or the instrument simply isn't right for you, you can return it for a refund of the item price only. Original shipping and handling are not refunded, and you're responsible for return shipping costs. In some cases, the seller may generate a return label through Trad Market — if so, the label cost is deducted from your refund automatically.

Issue-Based Returns

If your item arrived damaged, not as described, or misrepresented, you're entitled to a full refund of everything you paid — item price, shipping, and handling. The seller is responsible for return shipping, so you won't pay anything to send it back.

How Refunds Are Processed

Once the seller receives the returned item, your refund is issued to your original payment method. Expect to see the funds back in your account within 3–5 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
