How Fees Work on Trad Market

When you sell an instrument on Trad Market, a small percentage of the sale is deducted to cover platform costs and payment processing. Here's a breakdown of what to expect.

Platform Fee

Trad Market charges a 7% platform fee on every completed transaction. This fee is deducted automatically from the seller's payout and covers the cost of running the marketplace — including listing tools, buyer and seller support, and secure payment handling.

Payment Processing (Merchant Fees)

In addition to the platform fee, our payment processor charges a standard merchant processing fee of 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction. This is an industry-standard fee charged by the payment provider and is separate from Trad Market's platform fee.

International Card Fees

Trad Market is a US-based company, and transactions involving international payment cards are subject to an additional 1.5% processing surcharge. This fee is applied by the payment processor to cover the cost of cross-border currency conversion and compliance.

Chargeback Fee

If a buyer disputes a transaction and a chargeback is issued, a $20.00 chargeback fee will be assessed to the seller. This fee covers the administrative cost of processing the dispute.
